Put your marker on any empty intersection of the board. Strive to form a row of 5 markers in a line, either sideways, up and down, or diagonally. Stop your competitor from forming their own line of 5. Alternate setting markers with your competitor until one participant wins in making a line of five. Keep in mind that the match concludes immediately when a row of 5 is created, with no need to occupy the entire board.
